We are excited to introduce the newest members of the Sacred Heart School Board: Jim Hughes and Jennifer Hohman!

Jim is originally from Boston and currently lives in Rye, NY with his wife and four children. He graduated from Dartmouth College, and  he has worked at Citigroup for the last 14 years. Jim heard about the Partnership through Board-Assist and was then paired up with Sacred Heart. Though he has only been on the board since April, Jim is right at home in the Sacred Heart community after attending the Yankees Benefit and meeting students and teachers. Jim is excited to “help with fundraising and with advising Sacred Heart students, especially after they leave school.”

Jennifer has been living and working in New York City for the last 20 years. Her career has been spent in the advertising agency business in global roles, and today she serves as the Global Chief Marketing officer for KBS+. She was introduced to the Partnership by long-time mentor and friend Cecilia Greene, Director of Stewardship at the Partnership. Cee inspired Jen, “with all the Partnership is trying to do to deliver inner-city kids the chance for a great future, no matter what their current circumstance.” Since joining the Sacred Heart board, Jennifer has been deeply impressed with the devotion and passion shown by Ms. Akano and the rest of the staff for their students. She is looking forward to participating in events and mentorship opportunities, as well as promoting the school in the best way possible.

We are grateful to Jennifer and Jim for bringing their time and talents to Sacred Heart!
